Time with Old Friends

One of my best friends from PC called on Sunday and invited us to come down for an overnight visit this week and of course we jumped at the chance. Page also came down with her little girl, Lucy and Manning loved having a little playmate.

Eliza and Katherine and Mary Margaret were such a great hostesses and had everything we needed. We went the pool, went on a golf cart ride, watched a few movies, and cooked homemade pizzas.

Manning also loved big girl Katherine:)

And Lu Lu looks JUST.LIKE.HER. mama. She's like a little Mini Peggy:)

Thank you so so so much Eliza for such a great time. My boys will be talking about it for weeks!

Spray Play!

We had a play date at the J.I. County Park Spray Play area last week on an EXTRA HOT day and I only wish I would have had my swim suit:)

He won't eat chicken, beef, turkey, ham, brocolli, and the list goes on and on and on....BUUUUTTT....he seems to like the Mexican Chicken Casserole I made tonight. Go figure!!!

Little Mister Daredevil!!!

The littlest has resorted to CLIMBING as his new method of giving his mother a heart attack!!! He is into EVERYTHING and I feel like he's way more adventurous than Henry was at this age. Henry was not and is still not a climber, so this is new for me.
This morning he pulled the chair out at the dining room table and then proceeded to shimmy his was up on top of the table!

And, yes, this made him so proud and me so crazy!!!

Corn on the Cob

Manning tried Corn on the Cob for the first time yesterday at Mimi and Pops 4th of July Party and LOVED it. He could not get enough!!!
This made his Mimi very happy b/c this is her FAVORITE FOOD:)

Edisto with Hanna and John

I took the boys to Edisto for the day last Friday for some QT with Aunt Hanna and Uncle John. We had so much fun playing on the beach and riding in the golf cart.

The boys loved playing with Aunt Hanna's big straw hat!
