Birthday Loot

Henry is one lucky little boy to have gotten such nice gifts for his 1st birthday! Below are a few of his goodies.

He also got a really neat Thomas the Train Set with table from Mimi and Pops that I didn't get a pic of. Will get a photo as soon as we set it up.

Margaret gave him "The Giving Tree" and another Dr. Suess Book!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the party and brought Henry such nice things!

We had a wonderful little first birthday party for Henry on Saturday at Noon! Brad cooked up some burgers and dogs on the grill, Mimi brought her delicious homemade potato salad and hot dog chilli, and lots of folks came to help us celebrate.

*Mimi and I had big plans to make blue with brown polka dot cupcakes and a special BIG cupcake for Henry, but Mama just wasn't feelin' up to it with the flu and all....sooo

Henry's B-Day Dinner at Mimi and Pops

Mimi and Pops had a special birthday dinner for Henry on Thursday night. They ordered chicken fingers and wings (usually his fav, but was on an eating strike due to teething) and Brad and Daniel made homemade french fries. The Lews came over for dinner and gave Henry a balloon and a cool little bubble machine that he is obsessed with.

D-dogg couldn't be at the party b/c he was whoopin' it up in ATL with his buds at the Nascar Race. We missed you but Henry certainly understands b/c he can't wait till he's old enough to join you in some good ol' redneck fun!
