Tuesday night Brad's boss and his wife took us and 3 others out to dinner for all of their hard work in opening 2 new stores. We went to this new FAB restaurant on Johns Island called The Fat Hen. http://www.thefathen.com/ This might be my new favorite place to dine in Chucktown. One of the chefs from Rue de Jean opened it. Its lowcountry food with a french flair. Very French Country! We started out with several great apps....bbq bacon wrapped scallops, mussels, tuna tare tare. I had the Pan Seared Grouper over butter bean ragout! YUM YUM!!! Brad had the Lamb Shank and it was literally falling off the bone and tasted kinda like pot roast. We had great wine and great company and it was so nice to get dressed up and go out to dinner!

VE WORKED TO GET THE STORES STARTED. YOU DESERVE IT. I'M GLAD HENRY LIKES AVOKADOOS AND BANANAS. TRY HIM ON SOME MASHED POTATOES AND STEAK. HE NEEDS TO PUT ON A LITTLE WEIGHT.
