A Very Buggy Birthday Party

Saturday was the absolute most perfect day to have a birthday party at Henry's favorite park! We rented the picnic shed just beside the playground and the theme was just what every little boy loves: Bugs and Dirt!

We had pizza, juice boxes, worms, bugs, spiders, rats, and all kinds of other critters that covered the tables. Henry had several of his little friends and cousins come and they all had so much fun playing with the bugs and on the playground.
I made these little centerpieces for the tables.

Check out all those creepy crawlers!

Nana made these cupcakes with "dirt and worms" on them.

I went "Martha Stewart" and made Henry's cake this year. It's a "Worm Dirt Cake" made in a terracotta pot. It turned out so cute!

Henry contemplating his next move. The child did not STOP the entire party. His little cheeks were bright red!

Henry's bestie Olivia helped him open all of his presents! So cute!
This is the John Deer Tractor that Nana and Papa gave him. It was quite a hit with all the children yesterday!

All in all, Henry had the best birthday any little 2 year old could ask for! Thanks to everyone who came!
